After the information of question paper getting leaked spread before the exam, the SKAU administration canceled the examination and rescheduled the
‘Padarth Vigyan’ paper on February 3, next month, told the varsity public relations officer (PRO), Krishan Arya. SKAU has also removed the staff of its secrecy branch.
“A total of 174 BAMS first-year students were scheduled to appear in this supplementary examination on January 16, at five centers of Ambala, Chandigarh, Panchkula, Kurukshetra, and Yamunanagar. As per the date sheet, this was the first exam starting from January 16, and there are seven more exams up to January 31, which will take place as per their pre-determined scheduled date and time. Only the
Padarth Vigyan exam has been rescheduled on February 3”, said PRO Krishan Arya.
Giving information in this regard, SKAU registrar Dr Anil Sharma said, “A three-member committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of senior professor Dr Shambhu Dayal to investigate the entire episode. This committee will submit a report of taking appropriate action to the SKAU vice-chancellor (VC) Dr Baldev Kumar within a week, following strict action, will be taken against those found guilty.”
PRO Krishan told, “The staff posted in the secrecy branch of the Controller of Examinations office has been removed with immediate effect and new staff has been appointed.”
Registrar Dr Anil said, “All the examinations being conducted till January 31, will be held under the pre-determined schedule. The university administration will never tolerate such activities and will take appropriate action against the guilty.”
