With the examinations beginning on Friday, Anurag Tripathi, Secretary CBSE, has written a letter to students, parents, principals, and teachers, asking them not to get stressed out during this period.
“Parents should ensure their constant support and guidance to the children and encourage them to give their best performance without actually worrying about the results. The Board has made detailed preparations for the successful conduct of examinations across India and outside. It is indeed a marathon job, which requires your constant cooperation,” he said in the letter.
A total number of 18,89,878 candidates will appear for CBSE Class 10 examination which will be held from February 15 to March 20, 2020. 12,06,893 will appear for class 12 examination which is going to be conducted from February 15 to March 30, 2020. Out of these, there are 7,88,195 girls, 11,01,664 boys and 19 transgenders in Class 10 while there are 5,22,819 girls, 6,84,068 boys and 6 transgenders in Class XII.
