JEE Main 2020: One month strategy for January exam

Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main admit card 2020 will be released on December 6, 2019. As the JEE Main January 2020 exam date is near, aspirants are advised to start taking computer-based mock tests to give final touch to their exam preparation. Here are some important points that students should focus on:

Start Mock Tests

As per the exam schedule released by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the JEE Mains January or first attempt test will be conducted on January 6, 2020. With only a month remaining, the students are advised to ensure that their revision is done in a proper manner with help of mock test. The sample papers will give fair idea of examination and help them prepare for the exam. Moreover, candidates should practice during time slot of the examination so that during the exam they don’t feel lethargic.

Clear Concepts


The students should pay special attention on important topics in Physics section like semiconductor, magnetism, diffraction and polarization. Candidates should clear all important concepts of all three subjects – Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. Candidates should also learn all formulas.

Stay Positive

The JEE Mains entrance examination 2020 will be conducted twice so even if the first attempt doesn’t go as supposed, candidates especially first-timers need not worry as they can opt for second attempt in April 2020.

Manage Your Time

Candidates should ensure managing time because all three subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are equally important. Therefore, students must give equal time in preparations.

Avoid Last Minute Addition

The candidates should avoid studying any new topics during last minute as it might confuse them. and must revise only important topics.

Things You Should Carry

Keep essential things arranged including admit card, identity proof and pen, pencil for exam. The admit card for JEE Mains January exam will be made available on December 6 and the examination will begins from January 6-11.

Relax

Students should take regular breaks and not study at a long stretch. They should sleep early and ensure having adequate sleep.

JEE Main January 2020 Result


The result of the JEE Main first attempt test is expected to be declared on January 31.
