SSC releases revised final vacancies of JHT, JT, SHT and Hindi Pradhyapak Examination 2018

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the revised final vacancies of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak Examination 2018.

The SSC Junior Hindi Translator, Hindi Pradhyapak Online (Paper-I) Examination was conducted on November 26, 2019.

Computer Based Examination (Paper-I)

Paper II

Document Verification

Minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I and Paper-II are as follows:

(i) UR: 30%

(ii) OBC/ EWS: 25%

(iii) Others: 20%

Based on the marks scored in the Paper-I i.e. Computer Based Examination, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Paper-II. If the Computer Based Examination is conducted in multiple shifts, normalized marks will be used to determine merit

Based on the performance in Paper-I + Paper-II, candidates will be shortlisted for Document Verification.

Final selection and allocation of Ministries/ Departments will be made on the basis of the performance of candidates in Paper-I + Paper-II and the preference of Posts/ Departments exercised by them at the time of Document Verification.

Once the candidate has been allotted his/ her first available preference, as per his/ her merit, he/ she will not be considered for any other option.

SSC JHT 2019: Document Verification

All the candidates qualified for Document Verification are required to appear for Document Verification along with the photocopies and original documents.

Detailed options for various posts and departments will be taken from candidates at the time of document verification.

Candidates have to bring two passport size recent colour photographs and one original valid Photo ID Proof while appearing for the Document Verification. Photo ID Proof can be:

Aadhaar Card/ Printout of E-Aadhaar.

Voter ID Card

PAN Card


Driving License

Government School/ College ID Card

Employer ID (Govt./ PSU)

Any other Photo bearing ID Card issued by Central/ State Govt

Candidates will have to submit copies of various documents like:

Matriculation/ Secondary Certificate

Educational Qualification Certificate

Experience Certificate, if applicable

Caste/ Category Certificate, if belongs to reserved categories

Persons with Disabilities Certificate in the required format, if applicable
