The press conference was attended by director of National Kamdhenu Commission, Dr Vallabhbhai Kathiriya, Director of World Cow Conference and Agri Expo eminent scientist Vijay Bhatkar, Vice-President, Kamdhenu Seva Pratishthan, Vijay Thube, secretary Sameer Devdhar, Advisory Milind Deval among others were present. At the conference, experts and researchers of cow breeds from India, United States of America, Brazil, Sweden and Canada will guide the participants.
The visitors will able to see 30 different Indian breeds of cows and also get detailed information on these breeds. During this three-day conference, an introduction to Indian cow breeds, interviews of inspirational cow breeders, importance of A-2 milk, production of organic products, natural farming, environmental energy resources through Indian cow, new avenues in cow breeding, Nandi school, among other such topics will be discussed and lectures have been arranged. The entire effort is being done to develop a new perceptive towards cow breeding among youngsters and earn respect for cow breeding business so that they look at it as a potential career option.
The main aim of the conference is to give back its glory to Indian cow breeds. The Indian cow has proved itself on scientific grounds and this message should reach every farmer and cow breeders and also the new generation, is also one of the objectives of this conference .The conference also highlights ways and methods of empowering cow breeders, give them financial backing, produce pure and high quality cow breeds among other such aims and objectives have been kept in mind to organise this conference. Through this conference, all the research that is currently undergoing in Indian cows at international level will also be discussed at the conference.
